@3"DUNE" NOVELS SYNOPSIS

Dune - you know what happens :)

Dune Messiah - Paul is Emperor of the entire galaxy, and controls the
Lansraad, CHOAM and basically the Bene Gesserit aswell, the Tleilaxlu
build a "Gola" of Duncan Idaho, basically a clone from the dead flesh of
him, although he doesnt have the memories of Duncan he looks like him,
they call him "Hayt" and turn him into a Mentat. Mentants cant lie and
Paul asks him what his purpose is, Hayt admits it is to kill Paul (even
though Paul new this considering he was the Kwisatz Haderach).
Meanwhile, Paul is married to The ex-Emperors daughter, who name I
forget, and keeps Chani as a concubine, his wife drugs paul so Chani can
not give him a daughter, since he wont sleep with wifey.
A slow moving story, Paul revives Hayts memories, a thing that was
previously impossible and eventually has two kids, Leto 2 and Ghanima by
Chani, and although blinded by an atomic attack, can see, he buggers of
into the desert, everyone thinks he is dead. Boo hoo.
His children have "other memory" like the Bene Gesserit, but also psses
male memory and Like Pauls sister Alia, are like adults when they are
still children.

Children of Dune - Leto 2 and Ghanima bugger around Dune, which is now
becoming a verdant paradise the Corino house (of the old emperor) set
out to kill Leto 2 and his sister. Alia, is possesed by the memory of
the old Baron Harkkonen (if you remember, he is Jessicas mother) an
throws a wobbly. Stilgar, Duncan and Gurney attempt to save the
children, but Leto 2 fakes death to go on his "Golden Path" his sister
mentally convinces herself she is dead, so she can fool a truthsayer,
whilst off at the hands of captives, Leto 2 hears of a prophet called
"The Prophet" - he believes it to be his father, Paul Atreides.
Leto 2 is sort of being held by Gurney who is testing him, Leto 2
escapes and melds with the parts of the worm, the "Sandtrout", this
turns him into a super being, and eventually become one with th worm, he
goes around smashing all the water storage up etc, turning Dune into
Dune again, then, he pisses of, talks to the prophet, I forget, but I
think he kills him, kills Alia, who is now basically the Baron
(interesting scenes where the baron takes over her body and goes of and
shags people!), blah blah, the end.

God Emporer of Dune - About 3000 years after the last book! - Leto 2 has
become a worm, with a mans head, Ghanima is long dead etc, Arrakis is
now called Rakis and is a normal water world, with only a small desert
for Leto 2 himself. The Duncan Ghola has been given to Leto, or the
Tyrant as he is no know, so many times, they have gone through hundreds
of Duncans! - this Duncan realises Leto is "more evil than the
Harkkonens" and is aprehensive about serving him, in the end he kills
the Tyrant, hip hip hooray, there are interesting, violent scenes, with
Letos personal woman army "Fish Speakers" a quite good book.

Heretics of Dune and Chapter House Dune, further still by thousands of
years, we folow sisters of the Bene Gesserit as they fight a new group
of woman "Honred Matres" who return in beig numbers from the Scattering,
a thing where every body buggered of into the farthest rrwaches of the
galaxy. Duncan is in it, and so is an interesting Atreides Bashar, who
develops a special power half way throgh Heretics.
Not much more to say as it goes. I recomend them, my synopsis may be a
bit crap, but whos gonna complain :)
